Weekly training - New players welcome.

Weekly training sessions have been booked for Wednesday evenings between 7.00 pm and 8.00 pm.

The training is in the sports hall so you will need to wear soft soled shoes (trainers or plimsoles).

01/04/2012 - Home match vs.  Caterham Pumas

With Caterham needing to beat Epsom by five goals to stand a chance of winning the league, this was always going to be a tough macth.  In the end a 1 - 4 win to Caterham was a good result given that Epsom had no substitutes bring on for tired legs. 

25/03/2012 - Home match vs.  Epsom & Ewell Colts

Epsom & Ewell scored first, but it wasn't long before the Dynamos equalised.  There then followed a great match which the Dynamos were very unlucky not to win as Epsom & Ewell scored a last minute equaliser to leave the final score at 3 - 3.  A good result against a strong team, and a result which guarantees the 5th spot in the table.

18/03/2012 - Away match vs.  Nork Park Rangers

Epsom started this match really well and put Nork under great pressure.  The home team however weathered the storm and then imposed themselves.  The final score of 7 - 2 to Nork showed why they are top of the league

11/03/2012 - Home match vs.  Reigate Priory FC

What a difference a week makes. Having won last week, Epsom did not get into this game at all.  Reigate took control and held onto it to win by three goals to nil.

04/03/2012 - Away match vs.  Reigate Priory FC

A wet and cold morning saw Epsom play some very good football.  Despite having most of the possession, it was 1 - 0 to Reigate at half time.  The second half saw Epsom again control the game and push on for a good win.  Final score 1 - 2 to Epsom Dynamos.

26/02/2012 - Home match vs.  Queens Park FC

A lovely spring like day, shame about the result. Queens Park dominated the first half of the match, and despite a much stronger second half from Epsom Dynamos they held on to a 5 - 3 win.

19/02/2012 - Away match vs.  AFC Rosehill

Another great performance by the Dynamos.  Despite the majority of the possession, the score was 0 - 0 at half time.  The second half saw Epsom dominate even more.  Eventually their persistence paid off, and once the first goal went in, it was soon followed by another two.  Final score 0 - 3 to Epsom Dynamos.

29/01/2012 - Home match vs. Hook Youth

This was a tough physical game and Epsom did well to hold off some strong attacks.  Epsom scored first, but Hook came back quickly to make it 1 - 1.  Epsom fought back well though and regained the lead before half time.  The second half saw Epsom dominate the game and win by 6 - 1 with fantastic performances by all players.   

22/01/2012 - Away match vs. Nutfield Youth

Despite road works, everyone made it in time for kick off and the Dynamos started very well.  The first half was a great display of passing and finishing, and the score was 0 - 4 when the whistle blew.  Nutfield came back strongly in the second half and had a few good chances but it was to be Epsom's day and the final score was 0 - 5 to Epsom. 

08/01/2012 - Away match vs. Kingswood Terriers

After a few disappointing results, it was a chance to start the new year with a win. The Dynamos started well and took the lead with a great headed goal.  Kingswood responded and the half time score was 1 - 1. The second half saw two more goals, both for the Dynamos.  Final score 1 - 3 to Epsom.  Well played! 

11/12/2011 - Away match vs. Epsom & Ewell Colts

On a cold day for some reason the team just did not click. Epsom & Ewell won the match 2 - 0. 

04/12/2011 - Home match vs. Nork Park Rangers

This was always going to be a tough match against the top team in the league, but at half time the Dynamos were  3 - 2 up.  Sadly they couldn't hold on to the lead and the match ended 3 - 4.  On another day it could have been a win.

20/11/2011 - Away match vs. Caterham Pumas

On a very windy day, the chances did not fall for Epsom.  Caterham finished up winning 4 - 2.

20/11/2011 - Home match vs. Merstham Youth

Merstham got off to a storming 0 - 6 lead in a frantic first 20 minutes.  The Dynamos fought back well to score four goals, but it was too little too late.  4 - 8 was the final score.

13/11/2011 - Away match vs. Queens Park FC

Another lovely November day, and another great result. A fantastic 1 - 2 away win against a team that has had a very good record this season.  It's very encouraging to see how well the team is coping with good opposition.

06/11/2011 - Home match vs. Kingswood Terriers

Remember, remember the 6th of November!  A great result after a long half term break.  Well done all for a great 7 - 0 victory. 

16/10/2011 - Away match vs. Ashtead Colts A

First cup win!  (I've been wanting to post that for a while now).
What a great match.  Ashtead are a league above us and unbeaten this season, so it was no real surprise when they took an early lead, and a half time score of 3 - 1 didn't look promising.  But with a show of great character, the Dynamos fought back to 3 - 3 and finally to 3 - 4 in the dieing seconds of the match.  Well done to all the team.

09/10/2011 - Home match vs. Nutfield Youth

Last season Nutfield beat Epsom twice, once in the league and once in a friendly while we beat them in the league at their ground.  This time round Epsom stormed to an early 2 - 0 lead before losing focus and going 2 - 3 down.  It took real perseverance to stick at it and first soak up then apply the pressure but it paid off with four more goals in the second half.  Another solid performance against the team that won our league last season.  Final score 6 - 3. 

02/10/2011 - Away match vs. Carshalton Athletic FC

Almost exactly 12 months ago Epsom Dynamos played Banstead Athletic in s cup match.  It was freezing and wet and Banstead won easily.  Fast forward to 2011 and it was scorching hot and Epsom put on a fabulous performance to be 2 - 2 in the last five minutes of the match.  Well done to all who played it was a really good performance.  Final score 4 - 2. 

25/09/2011 - Home match vs. AFC Rosehill

A well played tough match.  The Dynamos had a 2 - 0 lead at half time, and held on in a tense second half.  In the end they couldn't quite maintain the lead but a 3 - 3 draw was a good result against a team we have never played before. 

11/09/2011 - Away match vs. Hook Youth

The first league match of the season and the first in Division One.  Two great goals for Epsom at the end of the first half proved too much for Hook to recover from though they applied a lot of pressure towards the end of the match.  In the end, a well earned 1 - 2 win to Epsom.  

04/09/2011 - Tournament at Oxted.

Two longer matches which gave the team a good test.  They won the first match easily, and the second ended as a draw making the Dynamos the champions.  Well done !

03/09/2011 - Tournament at AFC Walcountians.

A really good performance by all the team.  The opposition were very well organised but the Dynamos came back well and got a well deserved win in the final match.
